Coshocton Whiskey Club Membership Rules
Application for membership requires the recommendation of an existing Member.
All applicants, (male and female) must show a genuine interest in furthering their knowledge, expertise and experience of Whisky.
Membership is not transferable. If you misuse your membership, your membership may be revoked.
All members and guests must be 21 or older with legal identification.
Guest status is only available for individuals to become familiar with the Club. As such, an individual may only attend Club events for a total of three times as a guest.
Please inform the Club if your contact details change.
Members should treat fellow members and event staff as they would wish to be treated themselves.
Members will be responsible for their guests’ behavior.
The Club and/or its Officers are not liable to any member or guest for any loss, damage or injury suffered by them or their property howsoever caused.
In the event of any dispute arising as to the meaning or interpretation of these Rules, the matter will be referred to the Executive Committee, whose decision shall be final.
Members and their guests are not permitted to bring alcohol into any event venue unless previously approved by the Event Organizer or the Executive Committtee.
The Club’s Executive Committee has full discretion on who is eligible to be a member.
Membership renewal is to be paid each year prior to the end of the calendar year.
If a membership has expired, said individual is not permitted to attend meetings as either a member or as a guest until membership renewal has been paid.
If a membership is not renewed within three months of expiration, said member's details shall be irretrievably deleted from the CWC system. If said member then wishes to rejoin the Club, the joining fee must be paid once again.
Every member agrees to abide by the Rules of The CWC upon acceptance as a member. The Executive Committee reserves the right to refuse any member or guest of a member admission to the Club with or without giving reason in their absolute discretion. If the Executive Committee considers that any member’s or their guests’ conduct either inside or outside of the Club premises is contrary to the interests of the Club, the Club may expel the member from the Club premises and/or terminate that member’s membership without giving any explanation or refund of any membership or admission fee.
An expelled member shall cease to be a member when the decision is communicated. He or she may not even return to the Club as a guest.
All Rules shall, until revoked by the Executive Committee, be binding on the members.
